About our fragrances

This is the part we want read carefully, because it is the one people get wrong.

They are our own: Every fragrance we sell is blended and bottled as Shafaaf Perfumes. Some are inspired by well-known scent families — oud, musk, gourmand, floral — the way any perfumer works within a tradition.
What they are not: They are not copies, replicas or duplicates of any designer perfume, and we never describe them that way. We are not connected with, approved by, or acting for any other brand. Where we mention a well-known fragrance, it is only to describe how ours smells — the name stays the property of whoever owns it.
Scent is personal: How long a fragrance lasts and how it smells on you depends on your skin, the weather and how much you use. We describe our blends honestly; we cannot promise they will behave the same on every person.

Ordering and payment

Prices: All prices are in Indian Rupees and include tax. We may change a price at any time, but never after you have paid for an order.
How you pay: UPI and cards on the website, handled by Razorpay. Cash on Delivery is available on WhatsApp with ₹80 added — see Shipping & Returns.
When an order is confirmed: When the payment goes through and you get our confirmation. Until then it is a request, not a sale.
If we cannot fulfil it: If something sells out or a price was shown wrongly, we may cancel the order and return your money in full. We will tell you why.

Using the products, and the site

Use with care: Perfume and attar are for external use on skin or clothing. Try a little first if your skin is sensitive, keep it away from eyes, flame and small children, and store it out of direct sun. Bakhoor is burnt on charcoal — never leave it unattended.
Your account: Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. We can close an account that is used to abuse the shop or its staff.
Our photographs and words: The pictures, descriptions and design on this site belong to Shafaaf Perfumes. Please do not reuse them for another shop.
What we are answerable for: If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for it — we will replace it or return the money. Nothing here takes away the rights Indian consumer law gives you.
Which law applies: Indian law, and the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. But talk to us first — almost everything gets sorted on WhatsApp in a few minutes.

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change with them. Orders already placed stay under the terms as they were on that day.
